Paper-I (Tier-I): Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Paper-II (Tier-II): English Language & Comprehension
Medical Examination
Paper-I (Tier-I) Exam Pattern
General Intelligence & Reasoning — 50 questions — 50 marks
General Knowledge & General Awareness — 50 questions — 50 marks
Quantitative Aptitude — 50 questions — 50 marks
English Comprehension — 50 questions — 50 marks
Total — 200 questions — 200 marks — Duration: 2 hours
Paper-I Negative Marking
0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer
PST/PET
Candidates who qualify Paper-I undergo PST/PET to assess physical fitness
Standards vary by gender and category as per official SSC guidelines
Paper-II (Tier-II) Exam Pattern
English Language & Comprehension — 200 questions — 200 marks — Duration: 2 hours
Paper-II Negative Marking
0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer
Medical Examination
Mandatory detailed medical check-up after clearing Tier-I, Tier-II and PST/PET
Ensures fitness for service in Delhi Police, CAPFs and other agencies
Eye Sight Requirements
Unaided Vision: Distant 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in the other, Near 0.8 in one eye & 1 in the other
Corrected Vision: Distant 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in the other, Near 0.8 in one eye & 1 in the other
Disqualifying Medical Conditions
Flat foot, varicose veins, or knock knees
Squint or night blindness
Chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, or uncontrolled hypertension
Hearing impairment or speech defects
Past neurological disorders or surgeries that interfere with duties
